On May 7, 2025, the Board of Directors from Delta Incorporated visited Green Acres Middle School to host a Financial Literacy Workshop for more than 100 eighth-grade students. The sessions took place in their classrooms, where students received resources covering topics such as distinguishing between needs and wants, creating a practice budget, and understanding the significance of credit and its mechanics. The students showed great enthusiasm and shared insights on how these concepts could benefit them in their daily lives. Their active participation lasted throughout the event, and we were invited to return for another session.
