Every first Sunday in December, DELTA Inc. opens the doors of the Life Development Center, ushering in the ‘Spirit of Christmas’ with our signature program, “Christmas on Meadow Lane”. Christmas on Meadow Lane programs have culturally enriched the Greater Birmingham communities since 1998. This festive Christmas event has impacted the communities in the following areas:
- promoting reading literacy by donating books to children in grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth
- supplying parents with current educational information
- affording youth initiatives and adults opportunities to express their artistic abilities through drama, singing, praise dancing, and choral reading performances focusing on the meaning of Christmas.
- providing a wide variety of enjoyable Christmas activities for guests
The donations from the general public and community partners assist with the continuation of funds to support Christmas on Meadow Lane programs. DELTA Inc. would like to thank you in advance for your contributions.
